It is hereby
announced that officer’s positions in UMT-IIE Student Chapter are now open. All
students of Industrial Engineering department who are interested in
participating in chapter activities by taking an office are requested to apply
for their desired position by filling the form given on our website and
Facebook page.
The open positions
are as follows:
Executive Body
President -
Head of the chapter and responsible for planning and execution of all the
activities. He/She is also required to exhibit best character to motivate and
develop his team mates. He/She will be required to communicate with Head
Quarters of IIE and also with faculty and other departments in University.
Vice President
- Assist the President as required and assume his/her duties
when necessary due to President’s absence, Compile information/documentation
and prepare Chapter Activity Report
Secretary -
Take and distribute minutes for each board meeting, keep officer slate up to
date and forward to IIE Headquarters. Maintain records of chapter
correspondence and minutes and assist with chapter correspondence as required.
Treasurer -
Prepare (with input from board) annual budget, maintain chapter bank accounts
and keep the books. Based upon financial statements, update budget monthly and
prepare monthly account summaries for review at board meetings. Collect money
and issue receipts at all chapter functions Deposit receipts and pay chapter
bills in a timely fashion Plan annual audit.
Executive Director
- Head of all the committees. He/She is required on the ground to execute the
activities by coordinating with Committee heads. He/She will be ultimate
responsible for executing all the ground activities.
Committee Heads:
Program Director
- Also known as "Events Coordinator" is responsible for planning and
executing the events. He/She will be responsible for ensuring all the
facilities required at a particular event. He/She may have volunteers to
support him during event execution.
Membership
Director - Head of Membership committee. He/She will plan annual Membership
drive and recruit new members to the society. Distribute student member cards
and assist new members.
Industrial
Relations Director - He/She is a person with Industrial background or
relations responsible for conducting communication between chapter and
industries.
Marketing Director
- Responsible for highlighting chapter events in all university premises. Work
with officers and volunteers to plan advertisement plans and highlight society
benefits and activities.
Media Director
- Responsible for Social Media, Print Media, Electronic Media. He will be
responsible to call local news papers, write press release and coverage of all
the events. Responsible for photography, movie making and live stream coverage
over the internet.
