Mission
To promote the profession of Industrial Engineering through organized effort in study, research, and discussion of the fields of Industrial Engineering and the dissemination of knowledge thereby gained. The Chapter shall promote membership in IIE by acquainting the student body with the ideas, purposes and objectives of IIE.
To be the premier organization of students to promote industrial engineering profession and serve as a primary contact between the students and the industry for the students of the department.

IIE is the world’s largest professional society dedicated solely to the support of the industrial engineering profession and individuals involved with improving quality and productivity. Presently the Department of Industrial Engineering is offering Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) and there are plans for further education leading to MS and PhD.Industrial Engineering graduates share a distinct set of attributes. World-class industrial engineers are:
